Public Space One (PS1) is a community arts organization that works to promote an independent, innovative, and inclusive arts community and space in Iowa City, located at 120 N. Dubuque St.
Iowa City Press Co-op (originally called Zenzic Press) was founded in 2012 as PS1's community print shop.
We provide facilities and equipment for intaglio, relief, silkscreen, letterpress, and bookbinding and are collectively run by a group of members. Shop access is also available to the general public during open hours and through workshops. We work to foster and develop a local community of book and print artists and enthusiasts by providing low-cost access to shared equipment and creating educational and professional opportunities, projects, and collaborations.
